The rules ban erections and spread labia or bullocks, so I'm not sure what 'flaunting' you're referring to.

No he shouldn't have, that was an amazing sculpture and a piece of art, I don't consider nude photographs art. If it is a drawing that isn't in any way suggestive thats alright to, like a nude pregnant woman holding her belly, I consider that art, photos, no. They don't show any beauty, I think they are ugly. Just a random naked woman...or man, no thank you. I come here for ART not to see naked bodies laydown, standing up, tied up whatever...

Not saying photos are bad, like some of yours are very nice. I would probably be less frustrated with artistic nude if it was required to censor private areas.

So what's so different about a nude sculpture and a nude photo? Aren't the they same subject matter? What about paintings? If you painted a nude in a realist style? I don't see what the difference is.

And saying that is ugly is horribly demeaning to the models of these photos.

Well  thats how I feel, and the sculpture takes more time...WAY more time then a photo. More effort and thought in my eyes. And it depends on the painting. I guess that should have been my first reply to you. It all DEPENDS. I still don't want to see private areas of those people. The sculpture is a true piece of art and I am ok with it (though I personally wouldn't make one) I admire those who can

Not trying to make anyone upset just voicing my opinion, ONCEisONCE is a good friend of mine and I personally wouldn't have posted something against it, enless it was a reply to something someone else posted.

Hes a good person with strong beliefs :) I agree to disagree with you. Don't really want to argue about it just my point of view

Just seems like a weird double standard to be honest. There's nude photography going back over 100 years, and a lot in museums and fine art galleries. I don't see how the length of time taken to develop the image/product is of any relevence.

In the time taken to produce a b/w image of a nude model, a skilled sketch artist could do a very good and detailed drawing. (this is developing time, printing time, etc).

You do have a point, and it is weird and hard to explain for myself. I just see a big difference

Yeah but you're dodging my question, is Michelangelos David pornographic? If not, then why not?
